The petite, elderly Arab couple caught the elevator just before the doors closed. They struggled in with their stuffed grocery cart and apologized for delaying my ride.

On top of their groceries was a Family Size Lays Chips – Swiss Chalet Sauce Flavour.

I had to ask, “Are those good?”

The woman answered, “We don’t know! We’re trying them tonight! We think they’ll be excellent.”

The man said, “Ahh, Swiss Chalet sauce. A North American blessing.”

Loreli encourages talking to strangers, but only if they want to be talked to.
